Do you want more space to see your emails in Gmail?
Gmail allows you to collapse the left-panel of your screen with your labels, categories and chat.
Follow these steps:
Click the three line icon on your Gmail (top left hand of the screen)
Hover over each icon and the panel will expand. If you want to go back to the normal Gmail menu, simply click the three line icon again.
